of doughnuts and playtime

Okay so i've tried the raved-about donut from The Donut Factory. I get to eat it without queueing. I mean, not that there wasn't a queue, but I wasn't the one who needed to queue. (= But I'm utterly super disappointed because they ran out of the spicy cheese flavour and the wasabi cheese flavour. I've just tried the peanut dark choc one, don't see what's so fantastic about it that's worth two-ish hours of queueing. I think it's like sour grapes since I didn't get to eat my cheesy donut. HAHA! But I must say with that kind of queue, they're making money like crazy with just dough.

You know, I have drawn up a to-do list for myself for after the exams. So many things that I want to do that I highly suspect I will never get to complete everything. really. Let's see..

1. internship
2. learn driving
3. pick up piano playing again
4. rock-climb with cheng
5. squash with cheng
6. windsurf before I totally forget everything
7. wakeboard
8. learn a new language prolly korean with aisyah, and porky might wanna join
9. scuba-dive (but quite scared)
10. gym 2 to 3 times weekly (this is quite needless to say)
11. roller-blade
12. a short trip to somewhere
13. yacht sailing with sam (but expensive lah!)

Right. How to accomplish all these since I'm only left with weekends in the event that I get an internship? And even if I manage to do it, I will only tire myself out and might not enjoy the process as much. But the thought of having endless things to do is very orgasmic. Other than time, I will need money for all that! If I were to prioritise, i will say getting my driving liscence will come in after internship. The rest of the tasks..well...play by ear lah.

My professor for advanced calculus uses 'upstairs' and 'downstairs' when referring to 'numerator' and 'denominator' respectively. Sam and I looked up to the ceiling when he said upstairs. I couldn't help but laugh! It's actually the last lecture today yet it's the first time I'm hearing the terms he uses. Now you know how often I attend his lecture. No it's not something to be proud of.

keep them short!

I've been on a losing streak at mahjong so much so that i've forgotten the feeling of winning! boon says my luck is not good so don't push too hard. maybe i should just stop playing for a while.

If you don't know, I snipped my hair off by a few inches before the CNY, but i feel that it's growing so quickly that I don't feel it's short anymore. I'll prolly need a cut again come April, because i've decided to keep it short for a while. I've never managed to keep them really long anyway. Everytime it grows a little past the shoulder, I would feel rather irritated. Short hair is so much easier to manage, although it means I have to blow it dry to give it shape and more volume. Hj went to chop her tresses off too, and now we both have short hair! But no pictures cause' I don't know where the hell my cable is!
